UGANDA: JUNE 2019

As part of the Bleeding Free documentary, Bleedin' Saor travelled to Uganda to show the different efforts that were undertaken in the country to tackle period poverty.

Our partners Irise Uganda, Girl Up and Days for Girls International helped us understand the actions that are being taken to educate women and challenge the myths that surround menstruation. The collaboration between Scotland and Uganda was a way to compare and contrast the situation and the work done in both countries.
